Went to a Japanese restaurant!

We didn't have a dining table YET. We have one now though. That was how we had our first dinner.

Caramel popcorn! Bought those microwave popcorn and add caramel myself! Gosh! This is awesome!!!!

Baked peanut butter cookie. Kinda fail...... But it tastes ok! Trigger the fire alarm again! Haha!

101 Englewood Avenue

Last night staying at Goodyear. We decided to bake cookies!

There's too much batter, so we have to bake a few trays.

Hence, lots of smoke started to come out from the oven.
Hence, the fire alarm was triggered.

Hence, fire trucks and police cars paid us a visit.
Hence, everybody staying at Goodyear gonna come out from their comfy rooms.
Hence, we are happy that we created a scene right before we left! Haha!
Shhhh........ nobody knows it was us!

I just love this board! It's created for me! Cuz on the first day here, I went to the right when my room is at East!


Finally the long waited day has came! Time to move into our new place, 101 Englewood Avenue!

Rented a car. Daryl drove. He's very pro. No problem with the left hand side driver seat!


It's a very cool car! With lots of function! Best part is, there's moon roof!


Check out our new place! A white house! It's a bit run down n dirty, but it's acceptable........

Went around with the car and bought lots of stuff! Glad that it's done! Long and tiring but fun day! Time to settle down!

Since it's holiday, Alicia and I have plenty of time to go to the supermarket, to prepare, to cook and to wash the dishes.

That's fried bee hoon which tastes awesome!

Croissant which is insanely easy to make! We just bought the dough, spread it on the baking tray, slide it into the oven and TING! Done!

Healthy dinner!

Fried rice which tastes a bit too plain due to lack of ingredient.

Hershey Brownies that I baked. Failed twice and I have to scrap off the burnt part twice! Urgh! I blame the oven...................... I followed the instructions on the box!

Well, put a strawberry and vanilla ice-cream, it tastes awesome! Like seriously!

I've been a serious worrier lately. Uni life.

There's a lot on my mind.

Masak-masak time!

Alicia is my roomie now. We cannot tahan the food anymore!

So we've decided to start cooking. Yong chyi left some food with us. We're motivated!

Finally, we bought pan, ladle, wooden spatula, KNIFE, bowls, can opener and cooking oil!

And because we don't have a fridge now, we gotta buy vege and meat from the supermarket every time we wanna cook.

Bah kut teh with pork ribs, noodle and egg! Look nice?



Actually it sucks..... the soup..... tasteless.............

I think we need to simmer it for longer than 1 hour. But we were damn hungry.

In the end, the tea bag bocor and the soup finally tastes like real bah kuh teh!

Summer Break!

Summer Break!

Finally, I'm done with finals.

Tortured for 1 whole week.

Not just because of the revisions and papers, I've fallen sick two days before my first paper. Urgh!

I officially hate the food here.

I officially miss home a lot.

I officially miss my family and my besties.

The most stressful week ever.

But I'm lucky I have friends who want to take care of me.

I'm lucky that I nailed 2 of my papers, though I screwed up 1.

I'm lucky that I got approved for summer housing before I get to move to my new place.

I was sick for 5 days. So I was starved for 5 days and I lost weight in 5 days.

I don't know how much weight I've lost. But my newly bought skinny jeans is skinny no more.

Lots of people are going back or are back at home by now. Jealous.

But I've chosen to stay here for summer, even before I come to US. That's my decision.

And I shall enjoy and make full use of the time I have here!

But the weather is being a bitch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And it's so quiet around here that it creeps me out a bit.
